Her name is synonymous, a native Californian, Ms Bluford brings an electrifying demeanor on stage. She redefines the meaning of having true intimacy with God, through her ministry of song. As an Anointed psalmist, she celebrates life through her music and ministers to everyone who are broken hearted, discouraged and feel abandoned. She delivers the message of hope, encouragement and the bountiful blessings of God through song. Perhaps you’ve joined her in praise during her performances on the “Bobby Jones Gospel Explosion” televised broadcast or maybe you were aboard the “Sea Island” cruise and witnessed her performances with Gerald Levert, Rachelle Ferrell, Vesta and Gerald Alston.
Her contralto voice and music has an emulating savor. She combines the traditional Gospel cords and melodies, by adding contemporary jazz, a touch of urban flavor and a hint of rhythm and blues thus, producing an eclectic sound.
Pamela’s musical message is conveyed clearly and concisely to her audience. She extends her hand to everyone and invites her listeners to be a part of her melodolic conversations and intimate relationship with God. Called to the ministry of song at the tender age of 16, Pamela has developed passion for God’s ministry demonstrated through Gospel music. She has had the pleasure of ministering to thousands of people in churches, amphitheaters and cruise ships. Her songs are designed to speak to the lives of the entire Body of Christ and minister to the inner man, calling everyone to greatness by equipping Christians with spiritual and scriptural resources.
Critically acclaimed and recipient of the Recording Artist of the Year Award, presented by the Bay Gospel Academy Awards, Pamela has had the opportunity to share the stage with many seasoned and renowned Gospel artists such as;Shirley Caesar, Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans, Ricky Dillard, Rance Allen, The Five Blind Boys, Reverend Daryl Coley, Helen Baylor and the Walter Hawkins Mass Choir. In addition to her success, Garland Records is proud to announce that Pamela has released a Holiday CD that features her talented family and friends along with Pamela’s fourth CD entitled “Trust Him”, which Pamela featured her father Reverend Garlin Bluford on the single “Get Back Satan”.
